Q - How is an Artificial plant or Artificial tree
measured?
A - We measure our products and post this information
on our site to help make your buying decisions easier. When we say an artificial
plant is 22” High, we are measuring from the bottom of the container or plant
stem to the top of the plant, extending the longest leaf or flower as we
measure. For hanging baskets, for example, the length of the artificial flower
or artificial plant is the longest hanging stem measured when it is fully
extended. When we specify that a plant is 37” Wide, we measure the plant with
the leaves or stems extended to the sides.
PLEASE NOTE: Plant and tree heights are approximate. As they are hand made, taller plants may vary a few inches in height. Floral Arrangement measurements are more exact as these are pre-arranged and do not change shape after being created.
Q - What are
your products made of?
A - Artificial plants and artificial
flowers are commonly referred to as "silk flowers", however, materials used to
make the artificial flowers and artificial plants vary by style and type and
range from various synthetic fabrics to latex materials. Artificial trees often
may have a real tree trunk with artificial branches.
Q - How are your
items packaged?
A – Are products are shipped potted or unpotted
– fully assembled products are ready to put in place and shaped right out of the
box. We safely ship merchandise worldwide using reliable and secure packaging
methods.
Q – How is my
unpotted artificial tree or artificial plant shipped?
A -
Unpotted artificial plants are shipped flat packed with a piece (or pieces) to
the trunk and a set of fronds.
Q- Do I need to
order my own container for my artificial tree or artificial
plant?
A – Our unpotted artificial plants & artificial
trees may be packaged in a non-decorative pot. You can find decorative pots,
containers, and baskets on our site in our Containers section.
Q- How do I care
for and maintain the plants?
A - We recommend that artificial
floral arrangements and artificial plants be dusted much the same as you dust
your home or office. Most artificial plants can be wiped with a moist cloth if
necessary. If you plan to store some of your artificial plants, it’s best to use
the original shipping boxes. Please visit our care and instructions page for
cleaning tips and other product information for cleaning silk plants.
Q- What is the clear
substance in the vases of your silk flower arrangements?
A –
The product used is "crystal clear acrylic water". The acrylic hardens and looks
like water. You can also purchase this product separately on our site. Check in
our Floral Supplies Section.
